I Would Love Having Visitors!

Some of my posts might not sound so hospitable for short visits with friends,  but quite the opposite is true. I would dearly love for visits. It is important that you call or email ahead, since I do have doctor's appointments and appointments for hydration and for chemotheraphy. So come on over and we'll share a cup of tea!

  1. Dear Marilyn,
I sure wish that I could stop by for tea, but, as you well know, teaching hundreds of miles away doesn't allow for that. For now, I will look forward to your blog. Also, we will call every now and then - I worry that calls can sometimes be burdensome so if John (and/or you) doesn't want to talk, we certainly understand. I know that you know that you are on our minds constantly and we pray for your strength and health.
    Love, Ann
p.s. I wonder how you are feeling. A week ago it was pretty tough - is it the same still?

  2. Marilyn,
I would also love to have tea with you, but alas, distance will not conveniently allow that! So in the meantime, I will blog and let you know that you are lifted up in prayer and the constant wish for strength equal to and exceeding your needs each day. Remember the famous quote: "This too shall pass!" and be encouraged. Sending our love, Linda & Mike I.

  3. Another pretty spring day, and your flowers should be coming on nicely. Think of you guys often, and glad to hear you are feeling ready and strong enough for short visits. Soon we can be having tea in the garden! Martha Shepard

  6. We would love to have a cup of tea with you (english of course) but as you know tickets are not cheap. We will be in wyoming this summer and we have entertained the idea of driving to colorado to visit friends. If this happens we might have that cup of tea. Love from the Mead family!
