Following #10, I have had a pretty sleepy week. I just got a new anti-nausea drug (15 pillls for $1100). Thankfully my good old Federal BC/BS covers the cost now. Is it worth it? I think so; I slept less last nigh tand not at all during the day--and I'm writing a blog!
Hi Marilyn!
ReplyDeleteI'm back following again after summer journeys. This has been a happy summer for us: a new...FIRST!...little granddaughter (dare I say: "The most beautiful baby in the world!"?? HA!) and now one week ago, before we left CA, our eldest daughter became engaged. We are so very delighted!
It's always bittersweet to leave our stateside kids and family...but the good news is our son lives in Schweinfurt, so we will get to see our little granddaughter often. Whee!
I am very happy and thankful to read you are experiencing good results from your exhausting, and exhaustive, chemo work. Praise God! There is no doubt you are receiving excellent care...and I agree: Thank heavens for Blue C/S!! Also, thank the Lord for the researchers and their medical advancements which provide improved anti-nausea medication et al!! Hallelujah!
I read, also, you took a lovely drive up into the mountains. That's just the ticket, isn't it? There is no therapy like the out-of-doors, and the beauty of Colorado. I do hope with the new medication you'll have improved energy for more sojourns...charge up that positive juju! :-)

Thinking of you today, and sending a hug via warm breeze..
