Marilyn and I met with the oncologist this morning (Sunday) and it was not a meeting we wanted to have. Marilyn's liver continues to get worse and will no longer tolerate chemo. He is going to put her on an oral medication but to be honest it only works in about 10% of cases. We will continue to pray that we will be one of the 10%. If however it does not work the doctors gives her a few weeks or a few months at the most. I will keep you posted the best I can as we go through this very emotional time.

ReplyDeleteMy guardian angel continues to assist you in any way he can. I woke at 4:00 this morning & you were heavy on my mind & heart, and prayed a rosary. I've asked Holy Angels Catholic Church in Basehor to put you on their prayer list. I send you love........Please know that you are all on my heart & in my prayers. Come on, Marilyn! We're going to let our angels kick butt! Anyone else reading this, send your guardian angels to help. We will put together an invisible army to lead this battle.

O, Most Loving Savior, you have heard the cries of your faithful servant, Marilyn. A woman loved by many, who spreads love to others by living your message each day. She is a wife, a mother and a grandmother and has such a caring relationship with her husband and children. Remain with her now in her hour of need. Remove this cup from her.
